FREEDOM TO CONTROL YOUR LIFE  

Mind Movies 2.0Once you realise that it is you, and nothing else, that has control over your life, then you see the great opportunity that you have been given. It is very liberating to realise that it is not “life” or “people”, that control your life. That you have the freedom to control your own life, starting  with your thinking.

You can decide for yourself how you react to such circumstances. This may sound daunting, but in reality it is a wonderful opportunity because it means that YOU get to take the wheel and decide exactly how you want your life to be. 

No matter how good things get, they can always be better. This is not to say you shouldn’t be grateful for the good things you do have, but you should always set the bar higher...Take evolution as an example. There are many examples of perfect design in Nature. However, species (including human!) are constantly trying to evolve, to better their design, to become faster, bigger, stronger, more streamlined-and this is exactly what we as people should be doing in our everyday life.

Appreciate and be grateful for the good things that you do have, but realise that there is more out there. This encourages you to seek ever higher, strive harder, and achieve great results in whatever sphere you want to-results better than your wildest dreams. As soon as you put out thoughts of success and positivity, and allow yourself to feel that you deserve these things, you are opening your consciousness. The universe will respond to these positive vibrations and you will have succeeded in bringing all that you want straight to you. 

 Apply the law of Non-Resistance. Stop wasting energy fighting the things that you cannot change, and instead focus on that which you can-which is your thoughts, your actions, and the situation you are aiming for. The benefit of this is twofold; you get rid of negativity and feelings of failure, while at the same time you open the doors for good experiences. 

Controlling your thinking is a big step in controlling your life. If you consciously think, all the time, about the things you want in your life, and visualise yourself in the situation you are aiming for, then these things will start appearing in your life. Control your thinking, control your life. 

You, as a person are the one and only thing that you can change. You can’t change the fact that there will be uncomfortable or unhappy moments in life. Death and taxes are two of the few certainties in this world, and neither of them are much fun to endure. They don’t have to be too awful though, and they don’t have to ruin your life. YOU can decide how different events affect you. Control your mind and your thoughts, and don’t allow negativity to enter your world. 

If you practise discipline in your everyday life, and spend time working towards whatever it is that you really want- this is taking control of your life. In thinking only positive thoughts, and making sure that you do not waste time and energy thinking about negative things-this is controlling your life. In making the effort to help others, in not bearing grudges or hatred towards other people-this is controlling your life. 

And it feels good!!
